Moto E

Motorola has officially announced the second generation of their Motorola Moto E. This is their second try of the Moto E (2015) series and it will come with LTE right from the start. Along with that an improved 64-bit chipset,  a 4.5-inch display better battery and storage is all greatly appreciated.

The Motorola Moto E (2015) is available now in 4G LTE and 3G versions; the LTE version is powered by a 64-bit Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor which clocks at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU. The 3G version is powered by a 32-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with Adreno 302 GPU. Both chipset versions use just 1GB of RAM.

The 4.5-inch display on the display uses a qHD resolution (540 x 960 pixels) IPS LCD display with anti smudge coating and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The device comes with 8GB space of internal storage and is expandable via a microSD card slot. The rear camera is a 5MP camera which can record 720p videos and there is a front facing VGA camera. There are also two microphones on device for stereo audio.

The Motorola Moto E (2015) runs Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box and has water resistance coating. It is backed by a 2390mAh battery. There is no word on the availability of the 3G version but the LTE version costs $150 in Black and White versions. You can also buy extra Motorola Bands directly from the official website for $19.99 in an array of color options (Raspberry, Purple, Red, Golden Yellow, Turquoise, Blue) to complement the device.
