Uber is making it easier to pay for a ride (or meal via UberEATS) for your friends, family, coworkers or anyone else who needs a ride in the near future (or present moment). Uber now hosts digital gift cards for sale on their website. Once you’ve purchased a card or more, it goes directly to the gift receiver’s email address. If you’ve used CashStar programs in the past when you purchased e-gift cards then the overall process should put you at ease. You’ll be able to select a design, add notes and a price amount to gift.
The ride-sharing company proudly states that once the gift cards are accepted, the recipients can use it how they please, whether it’s a ride or a meal delivery via UberEATS.
