For a very long while Ticwatch has been out and there have been a lot of things to like about it. Unfortunately our review has a few criticisms such as the UI being in Chinese and it not having an always on mode. With its new update Ticwear version 3.2.1, there’s is finally an option to change the entire UI to English, and ambient display (always on mode) like Android wear. There are a ton of other goodies too but these two features make Ticwatch a very compelling and highly recommended smartwatch. We said wait in our full review, now we say go get it if you want to.

If you are in Japan, you can order your Ticwatch at http://www.taobao.com and http://www.jd.com.
To get the English version just update the smartwatches firmware to the latest one and English will be there.
Updated the software on the watch and ticwear 4 is required & downloaded via QR code from the watch. A real disaster as log in is required and you need a China based number for registration, previous version just guest log in will suffice. The watch is as good as dead now….
