Tidal was made available for TVs last year, it became available on Apple TV and Android TV in December, as well as on Apple CarPlay. The company announced on Thursday that it will be releasing new apps for Amazon’s Fire TV devices and for Android Auto. With more than 50 million tracks on Tidal’s music streaming service, users now have more options for hearing their songs on the road or at home.

Tidal noted that the Amazon Fire TV app will offer users a customized interface that emphasizes TIDAL’s visual ecosystem and is designed to provide the best experience for large screen devices. As for Android user with Android Auto-enabled vehicles, they can use the new app to play music, access the “My Collection” and “Explore” folders. I’m guessing that Tidal is trying to broaden its customer base that was reported to have stalled last year with subscriber number at around 1 million.
