In June, Adidas revealed the  Adidas’ Futurecraft 3D, a 3D-printed concept shoe  made from recycled ocean waste. The product was used to mark a new partnership with Parley for the Oceans — “an initiative dedicated to raising awareness about the beauty and fragility of the oceans and to collaborating on projects that can end their destruction.”

Adidas just revealed a new 3D-printed sneaker concept, the design consists of an upper made from “ocean plastic content” and a 3D-printed midsole made from recycled polyester and fishing gillnets. Adidas says, making its concept footwear a complete eco-friendly package and it “stands for how we can set new industry standards,”. The concept 3D-printed sneaker looks just like a normal running style shoe, we’ve seen 3D-printed shoes look worse than these. Since the 3D-printed concept shoe is just a prototype,  there’s no word on when or how anyone can get their hands on these. It makes me wonder if we’ll ever get to rock these or if  they’re just one of those PR products we never get to buy.
