Can these smart guys stop toying with our emotions already and make us a working version of Back to the Future 2 hoverboard already. In the past, we’ve seen a couple of guys come close to a working version while others just pranked the whole world with a viral video. In a recent teaser video by Lexus, the company swears it’s made a working hoverboard. Since we are way past April 1st I’m not worried if it’s a sick prank. As you can see in the video embedded below, the Lexus SLID appears hover on the skate park surface. We got more information from the site to more specific info on how it works. The Lexus SLID site explains that hoverboard is magnetic, with liquid nitrogen-cooled superconductors and permanent magnets, made with a Lexus grille and natural bamboo.
