Spotify updated its Windows Phone app sometime this year, but there was no site of the free ad-supported streaming. This feature has been available on both Android andiOS for a while now. You don’t have to wonder is your Windows Phone OSis cursed by the lack-of-appswitch, as Spotify has finally deem it necessary to get you Windows Phone users in on the free ad-supported streaming side. Spotify announced that both Windows Phone 8 and 8.1 devices will have the same functionality as theiOS and Android versions. The update comes with better search and discovery experience, and various under the hood fixes, you can grab the updated app from the Windows Phone Store now.
