The coolest thing about the New Year’s Eve isn’t just the festivity or the resolutions we get to make in our home. I personally like the New Year because of the goals the wife and I set each year, and the extra income we get from our Tax Time preparation. Oh, lest I forget to tell you, we have a new member of the family who took nine golden months to arrive, this means we’ll be getting some extra disposable income this Tax Time. Before our son, we didn’t care about the extra income that trickled in after filing our taxes and spent it updating our existing gadgets, smartphones or home decor. Our goals this year is to save up to get a new home before our little man gets older, this also means we have to put into consideration if we would be keeping the current house or putting in the market place. Saving up for such an event means we’ll have to cut down on all the money guzzling extras in our lives. Bringing our own food from home for lunch, buying things we need and not want, unnecessary TV packages we hardly even watch, and extra smartphones bills that looked like a car note payments. I couldn’t resist the extra savings we would get by switching to the Walmart Family Mobile service, $29.88/month (for the first line) Unlimited Talk, Text & Data service plan which includes up to 500MB of 4G LTE data.
Looking back at our old phone bill, I’m ashamed to put up the amount we’ve had to pay for years all in the name of being able to upgrade to the latest smartphone when they launched in stores. With Walmart Best Plans/lowest priced unlimited talk text and data/web, we were able to part ways with our old service provider. If your smartphone bills scares the crap out of you whenever it’s due, you might want to give the Walmart Family Mobile service a try. You can get some really cool Android and Windows Phone devices from the Walmart Family Mobile service at an amazing price without having to break the bank like the ZTE Zinger – $19.84 (was $39.88), the Samsung Galaxy Avant – $149 (was $199.99) or just bring your unlocked device along with you. I got the Samsung Galaxy Avant for my wife, the smartphone has an amazing spec for its price range and 4g LTE capable. We can still have our clear video calls to share our little boys precious moment with each other. I’ve shared my tax time prep with you. I’d love to hear about yours!
